Sapota Care: Please take out all the fruits from the cover and separate these into 3 categories:
- Soft Fruits: These are ready to eat today/tomorrow. If you can't consume these immediately then please store in fridge.
- Slightly Soft Fruits: These fruits get ready to eat from tomorrow/day after tomorrow. Check it next day for the fruits which got softer which should be consumed or store in fridge.
- Hard Fruits: These fruits take 3 to 7 days to ripen. Wrap all of these in a news paper cover and leave it on Kitchen table (or any warm place). Check these every 18 to 24 hours and separate the ripened fruits. If you want to speed up the Ripening Process naturally then place a ripened banana peel in that paper cover.
Ripened Sapota Rottens (turns sour) very quickly (within hours), so you need to pay more attention and follow the above steps for Enjoying Organic Naturally Ripened Fruits. If you find a fruit which got over ripened or small part of it got over softened then you need not to throw the full fruit straight away. This is common with Sapota. Just cut and throw that part. Smell and taste the good part and take a decision before throwing away this good part. In our experience, most of the times this part dont spoil and tastes good. Thank you.
